The electronic registration system (iJustice) has been fully implemented since 1st February, 2022, which marks an important step in the process of quality upgrade of the country’s justice system.

iJustice is expected to contribute drastically to the faster, more efficient and effective service of officials and professionals in the field and of society as a whole.

Consequently, all new cases without exception will now be registered exclusively electronically, without physical presence, with the exception of the Administrative Court of International Protection and the Courts of Criminal Jurisdiction, including the Criminal Court, the Military Court and the Supreme Court. For clarifications regarding cases that have already been registered within December 2021 and January 2022, you can revert to the relevant announcement of the Supreme Court.

The full implementation of the system was preceded by thorough training and a sufficient period of familiarity of users, while, at the same time, through productive dialogue and consultation with all partners, proposals necessary for the expansion and optimization of system functions were recorded and implemented, to ensure the maximum possible benefit from its use.

Lastly, it is noted, that for the smooth operation of the system, the Cyprus Bar Association (CBA), with the support of the Ministry, has organized training points in the local bar associations, in order to solve immediately and effectively technical difficulties that may arise. For the convenience of the users, relevant educational material in the form of video, as well as a detailed user manual have been created. At the same time, users are invited to continue to submit their suggestions, for implementation of continues improvement of the functionality and efficiency of the system.

It is reminded that the registration in the CY Login in the portal of the Government Internet Security Pass “ARIADNE” must be completed prior to accessing and using the system.
