Through our internships and apprenticeships, Harris Kyriakides aims to identify, mentor and develop young people who aspire to a career within the legal profession. As partly paid placements, these internships do not preclude anyone from participating due to financial circumstances and they allow students to gain a wide understanding of what it is like to work at Harris Kyriakides. Participants observe and experience everyday working life of legal professionals, while building their confidence by contributing to real life projects and gaining recognition for their efforts. They also have the opportunity to start developing their own professional networks.
An internship at Harris Kyriakides offers opportunities to do actual legal work. Having this experience prior to officially entering the legal profession can be a real advantage, since it provides law students with early exposure to the demands that would be placed upon them in such working environments.
These internships at Harris Kyriakides operate during the summer months and the deadline for applications is set within April each year. Details regarding applications and exact deadlines can be found here.
