Measures for the assistance of companies that have sustained consequences due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
In the course of the measures taken by the Cyprus Government to support the companies/businesses that are affected by the restricting measures imposed to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the Department of Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver (DRCOR) is announcing the following:
4th campaign of companies’ compliance for the filing of pending annual reports
The process of publications of the three-months’ notice in the Official Gazette of the Republic before the companies’ strike off due to non-compliance is suspended until January 2021.
Payment of the annual fee of €350
The ability to pay the annual fee for 2020 is extended until the 31st of December 2020, without the imposition of the additional charge of 10% and 30%.
Imposition of charge for the late filing of forms to the DRCOR
In cooperation with the House of Representatives, the application of the charge for the late filing of statutory forms to the DRCOR, shall be postponed for 2021.
Submission of the Annual Report of 2020
The Annual Report with date of drafting from 01/01/2020 until 31/12/2020 may be submitted to the DRCOR by 28/01/2021, without the imposition of the €20 fee for late submission.
Due to the relevant regulation needed to be carried out in the system of the DRCOR, it is suggested that companies intending to make a late filing now of the Annual Report of 2020 to the DRCOR, await the relevant Announcement by the Department of the DRCOR.
