Supreme Court reinstates procedural timeframes as of June 5, 2020

Pursuant to a new Procedural Regulation (no. 2/2020) issued by the Supreme Court on May 13, 2020 and having effect as of June 5, 2020, all procedural timeframes in relation to filings of pleadings or applications or for the performance or processing of any procedural step, are reinstated and the suspension adopted due to the pandemic of Covid-19 is abolished.

On the basis of the above, all procedural timeframes continue in force as of June 5, 2020.

The Procedural Regulation also affirms that for 2020 and due to the pandemic of Covid-19, the Courts’ summer vacations will be limited to the period from August 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020, both dates included.
