Our Associate Mr Christos Stroppos contributed to the Commercial Law Review as a co-author of a brief overview on the legal framework regulating the provision of electronic money services in the Republic of Cyprus, namely the Electronic Money Laws of 2012 and 2018 which transposed into national law the directives of the European Parliament and of the Council, namely 2009/110/EC of 16 September 2009 on the taking up, pursuit and prudential supervision of the business of electronic money institutions and (EU) 2015/2366 of 25 November 2015 on payment services in the internal market.
